  Description
Tiny Tigers 3-7 No skating experience is required. This is an introductory learn-to-play hockey & skate program for beginner boys & girls. Instructors teach proper balance, skating techniques and the basics of hockey. Students work toward a Hockey 1 badge and advancement to the Little Islanders.
All first-time students receive an official Sound Tigers jersey.

Little Islanders 4-7 This is a learn-to-play hockey & skate program for young boys and girls, specifically designed to teach them skating and hockey skills. Students work toward a Hockey 2 badge and advancement to the Atoms. First-time students receive an official New York Islanders jersey.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Learn-to-Skate program or Tiny Tigers Hockey 1 badge.

Atoms 5 & up Experience the magic of scoring hockey goals! The Atoms have small ice scrimmages (3 vs. 3) and hockey drills specifically designed for players who have earned the Little Islander Hockey 2 badge or its equivalent.

Hockey Development 101
(Formerly Called Intro Hockey 101)
This is a learn-to-play program with strong emphasis on player development and incorporating skills & drills, power skating and scrimmages. It is geared toward students with some skating experience, who will work toward a Hockey 3 badge and advancement to Hockey Development 2. Prerequisite: Learn to Skate, Atoms or equivalent.

Hockey Development 102
(Formerly Called Intro Hockey 102)
This is a learn-to-play program designed to prepare students for the house league. They will learn the rules of the game, advanced skill work, positioning and stick handling. Players completing this program will earn their Hockey 4 badge and are ready for the Spring Hockey Programs and Fall House Ice Leagues. "Prerequisite: Hockey 3 badge or equivalent.
